What this is

A tool that reads documents you upload and reports which obligations in a sector pack they are able to evidence. It is not an audit, it issues no nonconformities, and it never signs anything off. Every disposition remains a named person's to make. Nothing here substitutes for your own judgement or for a competent authority's.

Your documents

They are yours. They are stored in an area isolated to your organisation and readable only by accounts belonging to it. On the free trial they are removed automatically 90 days after an assessment is started, and you can delete everything at any time from your account page.

A page that carries its own text is read from that text. A scanned page or a photograph is read by a reader running inside the service, which is the default for every seat. Where a scan reads badly we can switch your account to Google Document AI in the European Union, which returns text and acts as a processor that does not use the content to train models; we would tell you before doing so, and every report names which reader read each page. If your own agreements do not permit the cloud reader, say so and it stays off.

A seat

A seat is one person's: £49 a month including VAT, paid by card through Stripe, with no minimum term. The receipt shows the VAT. Cancel at any time from the billing page; that stops the next payment, and the seat stays open to the end of the period already paid for. When a seat lapses, nothing you filed is removed and everything stays readable; paying again is the whole of the way back. A seat gets no human support: the product has to answer its own questions at this price.

A company account

People who have each bought a seat can work on one company account. The person who runs that account asks us for a key and gives it to them; entering it moves their sign-in onto the company account, and they go on paying for their own seat. Every seat is still one person's and is still £49 a month: there is no company price and no discount for a group.

Joining never merges, moves or removes anything. If somebody already holds work of their own on this account, we refuse the join and say what we found rather than deciding for them. If one person's seat stops being paid for, that one person becomes read-only and everybody else on the account carries on. The person who runs the account can put somebody back out again, which gives that person an account of their own with their seat still theirs, and removes nothing.

Fair use

Reading scanned pages and deriving rules from documents costs us money for every page and every clause, and a seat is priced for one person's own work. Nothing is metered against you month to month, and your billing page shows what your account has read and derived. If an account's use is persistently far beyond what one person's work could need - a firm's reading through one login, or an automated feed - we will tell you first, and we may then restrict it or ask you to move to a plan that fits. We never do that without telling you, and nothing you have filed is removed because of it.

What we record, and what we do not

We record counts about each run: which sector pack, how many pages and documents, how long it took, and how many obligations came back evidenced, lapsed, undecided or unaddressed. We also record which of our own obligation identifiers your documents did not answer, and the document types that matched nothing.

We do not record the contents of your documents, the values read out of them, the filenames, or the names of your suppliers or staff. That is not a promise about our care. The log has a fixed list of permitted fields and none of them could hold any of it, so nothing else can be written even by mistake.

Those counts improve the packs and the reader, and in aggregate show which obligations organisations most often struggle to evidence. If we ever want to use your actual documents to improve the reader we will ask you separately, and it will be off unless you turn it on.

Availability and liability

The free trial is provided as-is, with no warranty and no uptime commitment. The report is only as good as the documents given to it: a value read from a scan is a machine's reading of an image, is flagged as such, and load-bearing values are marked for you to confirm against the page. Do not rely on this tool alone for a regulatory decision.
